Terms of Use
Last updated: July 12, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Polyhood, including the website, interfaces, and related tools (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Polyhood provides a non-custodial interface for interacting with selected prediction markets and related on-chain and off-chain infrastructure. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above.
2. Eligibility, Age, and Jurisdiction
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
Access may be restricted based on your location. Certain jurisdictions are geoblocked or otherwise limited by Polyhood or by upstream providers. You agree not to circumvent geographic or other access restrictions. See our Restricted Jurisdictions page for additional information.
Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice. Prediction-market activity involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for compliance with laws that apply to you.
3. The Service; Non-Custodial Interface
Polyhood is a non-custodial interface for selected prediction markets. You sign orders and authorize transactions with wallets you control. Polyhood does not custody your funds, does not operate a matching engine or central limit order book as an exchange operator, and does not guarantee fills, prices, settlement, or market resolution.
Market data, matching, settlement, bridging, and related services may be provided by third parties (including Polymarket and bridge or relayer providers). Polyhood is an interface layer, not an independent exchange. Third-party terms and risks may apply in addition to these Terms.
4. Accounts and Wallet Connection
You may connect a self-custodied wallet and, where offered, authorize deposit wallets or related credentials to use the Service. You are solely responsible for:
- Safeguarding private keys, seed phrases, device access, and any credentials you authorize
- All activity conducted through wallets or sessions associated with you
- Ensuring that addresses, networks, and assets you use are correct before confirming any transaction
Polyhood never requests your seed phrase. Never share seed phrases or private keys with anyone claiming to represent Polyhood. You may lose access to funds permanently if you lose control of your wallet or sign malicious transactions.
5. Markets, Trading, Deposits, and Withdrawals
The Service may allow you to view markets, place or cancel orders, deposit or withdraw supported assets (including pUSD and other tokens on Polygon or related networks), and interact with bridges or gasless / relayer flows where available.
You acknowledge and accept that:
- Orders may partially fill, fail, be delayed, or be auto-cancelled
- Displayed prices and estimates may differ from execution or resolution outcomes
- Deposits, withdrawals, and bridges involve third-party and on-chain risk, including delays, failed transfers, smart-contract bugs, and network congestion
- Polymarket and other upstream systems may change, restrict, or discontinue markets, APIs, or features without notice to Polyhood
- Builder attribution or similar metadata on orders does not make Polyhood a custodian, broker, or exchange operator
You are solely responsible for trading decisions, position sizing, and tax or regulatory reporting that may apply to your activity.
6. Fees
Fees may include trading fees set by upstream venues (such as Polymarket), network or relayer gas costs, and bridge or conversion provider fees. Polyhood may or may not charge a separate platform fee; any applicable fees and estimates are disclosed in the interface before you confirm. Always review estimated fees, price impact, and slippage before signing. See our Fees page for current descriptions.
7. Risk Disclosure; No Warranty
Prediction markets and digital-asset transactions involve substantial risk of loss, including total loss of funds. The Service and all related content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory—including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, Polyhood does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components; that market data will be accurate or complete; or that any order will execute at a displayed price. Additional risk factors are described in our Risk Disclosure.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law, sanctions, or regulatory restrictions
- Circumvent geoblocks, access controls, or upstream compliance measures
- Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, or other abusive trading practices
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, APIs, or underlying networks
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, wallets, or data of others
- Use the Service to launder money, finance illicit activity, or conceal the origin of funds
- Misrepresent your identity, jurisdiction, or affiliation with Polyhood
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service except as expressly permitted by law or written authorization
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated, without prejudice to other remedies.
9. Intellectual Property
The Polyhood name, branding, interface design, software, and related materials are owned by Polyhood or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal or internal lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with prior written consent. Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polyhood and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages; or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or digital assets; arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, third-party protocols, bridges, wallets, or markets—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid directly to Polyhood for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Polyhood and its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy. Cookie practices are further described in our Cookie Policy.
13. Modifications; Suspension; Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for security, legal, operational, or third-party dependency reasons. We may refuse or revoke access where required by law or these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including risk disclosures, IP, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply. If a specific governing jurisdiction is designated by Polyhood in a later update or deployment notice, that designation will control. Disputes should first be raised through the contact channels below where practicable.
15. Contact
For support, legal notices, or security reports related to these Terms or the Service, use the contact channel described on our Contact page. Never share seed phrases or private keys in any communication.
16. General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Polyhood regarding the Service, superseding prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without prior consent; Polyhood may assign them in connection with a reorganization, transfer of assets, or similar event. Headings are for convenience only.
